Being named the “Femme de Caractere” (also known as Woman if Character) in Singapore by L’Oreal Cosmetic, Singapore based Baylene Li is the mastermind behind her chic label, BAYLENE.
Borned in Taiwan and bred in New Zealand, Baylene Li started designing for a leading label in New Zealand before she moved to Sinagpore in 2002 and made it her home now. She soon launched the BAYLENE label in 2003 with the collections truly reflects the character of Baylene and her designs, an unmistakable chic-ness augmented by the unexpected.
By May 2004, Baylene showed her first collected at the Mercedes Australian Fashion Show and was named the “Best-Ready-To-Wear” designer by CLEO at the same year.
Since then, the Baylene label enjoys strong growth among the Asia region with stockist in Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and Malaysia.
Through the years, Baylene has perfected her signature designs knowns as “Multi-way” dressing. BAYLENE often surprises the customers by showcasing brilliant multiple ways of wearing on one single garment.
