MAYA & RUHI is the creative realization of designer Pearl Bhasin.  Her homes in Singapore, Bombay and Dubai nurture her eclectic ethnicism and a signature posh bohemian style.  Her travels inject newfangled perspectives on traditional concepts of colour, form, and the art of jewelry.

Every MAYA & RUHI piece is a one-off design lovingly handcrafted by the designer at her home studio in Singapore. Pearl uses semi-precious stones, crystal, cut glass, pearls, shell, 925 silver and 24-karat gold-plated 925 silver sourced from her travels.

An old soul at heart, Pearl’s artistic inspirations include 1920s Art Nouveau, the art and poetry of the Pre-Raphaelites, Mughal paintings, baroque music, desert sunsets, Istanbouli pottery, and Marie Antoinette. The classical influences culminate in a look that is timeless yet edgy, a sophisticated bohemian look that tells of elegance, discernment and intuitive charm.

In life, she is made better by her beautiful daughters, Maya and Ruhi.
